APROXIMACIÓN A LA TRADUCCIÓN JURÍDICO-ADMINISTRATIVA DE DOCUMENTOS DEL REGISTRO CIVIL MARROQUÍ: CERTIFICACIONES DE NACIMIENTO
Abdellatif Aguessim El Ghazouani
ABSTRACT
It is well known that Moroccan citizens are the most numerous group of foreigners among those living in Spain, only after the Romanian citizens. In order to carry out administrative procedures, the most widely translated certificates they need, whether sworn or not, are those issued by Civil Registries. In this study, we focus on birth certificates and we compare the legislation of Morocco and Spain regulating this type of document. In addition, we try to provide alternatives for the translation of those legal and administrative terms harder to translate. The aim of our study is to offer a different opinion and to make a contribution by justifying our new translation proposal.
