RELATOS BREVES PUBLICADOS EN REVISTAS: OTRAS MEDIACIONES LITERARIAS ENTRE ESPAÑA Y FRANCIA EN LA PRIMERA MITAD DEL SIGLO XX
Carmen M. Pujante Segura
Abstract
French and Spanish literatures have not ceased to mutually influence each other through literary trends and translations. These are intermediaries together with the magazines and collections, among others, that opened the market to short stories in different formats. The intermediaries affect each other and also contribute to the reciprocal influence among literatures: the same collections and magazines, which shelter translations and literary trends, foster supranational literary relationships at the same time as they are promoted by the press and their growth, like it was the case of the rest of the written culture, since the nineteenth century in France and Spain. Nevertheless, the various brief narratives as well as the collections and literary magazines have been associated with the paraliterary and other topics on account of their connection with the media, which in turn offer to literature an excellent shelter and service.
