LA PROPAGANDA ELECTORAL PREDEMOCRÁTICA EN ESPAÑA. ESTUDIO DE LAS CAMPAÑAS DE DOS REFERENDOS: 1966 Y 1976
Paz Carrillo Navarro
SUMARY:
Our intention with this article is to study, from a representative series of electoral documents, the main characteristics of two referendums: the 1966 Franco referendum and 1976 predemocratic referendum. These two electoral campaigns, clearly marked by their own political and social contexts, present some obvious differences, but some similarities too, above all from a structural point of view. We intend with this piece of work, to make some history about the electoral propaganda of our country from the analysis of the documents of these two referendums, as well as to establish a comparison between the propaganda task that surrounds both referendums. Our analysis will stick exclusively to written documents that were exhibited or distributed during the period of each electoral campaign.
