Resumen
En el presente artículo nos proponemos llevar a cabo un análisis de la novela del mexicano Juan Villoro, El testigo. Este análisis nos permitirá no sólo conocer mejor cómo y de qué manera aparece México en esta y otras novelas de Villoro, sino, además y más importante aún, la importancia de López Velarde y la ironía en su obra así como su significado final.
Abstract: our intention with the present article is to analyze the novel of the mexican writer Juan Villoro, The witness. This analysis will alow us, not only to improbé our knowledge of the way Mexico appears in this and other Villoro´s novels, but, besides and even more important, it will allow us know the importance of Lopez Velarde and irony in his novel and to inquire its final maining.
