El presente artículo aprovecha el trayecto vital que llevó a Antonio Machado desde Soria a Baeza para presentar las principales claves éticas de su poesía: la realidad y el sentido del alma, de la existencia humana, del yo. Las conexiones con la poesía de Unamuno. Su ironía frente a la filosofía de Bergson. La progresión de un humanismo abstracto a un humanismo social. Del inmanentismo religioso al comunitarismo.
Abstract: The present paper looks at the circumstances that led Antonio Machado from Soria to Baeza in order to outline some of the key ethical aspects of his poetry. Namely, reality and the meaning of the soul, the meaning of human existence in general and one's existence in particular. His connections to poetry by Unamuno. His irony towards Bergson's philosophical writings. The movement from an abstract humanism to a social one. From firm religious beliefs to communitarian ideologies.
