Abstract: this article tries to question, from Benjamin's article ("The task of Translator"), the limits of the Original in the task of the translation. We will also stop us in the ethical condemnation (traduttore-traditore) that is exercised on the translator in an unquestionable way. All this march in order to discover that basically the problem is due to a flaw in the Original.
